Screw Knowshon Moreno. Screw Beanie Wells. If the top 4 tackles (Jason Smith, Andre Smith, Eugene Monroe, and Michael Oher) are off the board by 21, the Eagles better take Brandon Pettigrew or a guy that I overlooked in the past because I figured the Eagles aren’t focused on adding another receiver: Darrius Heyward-Bey. Could the Eagles be interested in him? Crabtree and Maclin are way out of reach, but I am loving Darrius Heyward-Bey as an option at WR for the Eagles. The bad news? The Jets, Bears, and Bucs are in the hunt for him at 17, 18, and 19.
I saw this guy with my own two eyes up close when I was at Maryland games, and this guy will be a star in the NFL. No doubt in my freaking mind.
We all know he is faster than anyone he’ll match up against. But he can make plays everywhere. I saw him against GT literally jump on top of his defender to make a catch. He’ll be a killer in the redzone.
If he didn’t have bums throwing to him, he’d have been a superstar.
I wish with all I’ve got that we’d pick him up if he’s available. But we won’t.
