kearse is 100% gone. ill bet my yearly salary on that. and you're an idiot for suggesting the team goes after asante. hes a great player but what the hell is the point of having samuel, sheppard AND brown on as corners? also, why would the lions trade williams? i know hes p***ed off at the lions but theyre not going to give him away for considine and a 3rd rounder when he was a high 1st rounder who they already put in a lot of front-loaded bonus money into his contract. if we dont want considine, why would the lions want him? where do these idiots come up with these trade scenarios? it makes all sports fans look like idiots.

The 3rd-round pick and Considine was a WISH, not even a rumor. I know that it would not happen, but it would be nice. Have you seen the Lions secondary? It wouldn't surprise me if they would have interest in a guy like Considine -- he would be an improvement from what they already do have. The ACTUAL trade rumor was Reggie Brown and a 4th round pick. THAT rumor makes SOME sense because Williams will walk after this season anyway and if the Lions make the move, they have a legitimate WR who can be their #2 that's LOCKED UP under contract. And you're right about Kearse, I didn't think there was a 100% chance that he would be released, but it looks like that will be the case.
