I am a Redskins fan. Vagiants is the funniest nickname I have heard in a while. No offense taken here if you come up with a nickname for the "Skins that is just as funny. Deadskins is played out and Foreskins isn't as funny as you'd think it should be. Sorry I can't help. After 3 weeks I figured the Eagles would be the odd man out because they have no depth on offense. Your offense sucks if McNabb and Westrook aren't healthy and McNabb is too old to make it through a whole season without injury. I just didn't think that they would falter so soon.

Tony Gonzalez on the trade block

You have got to be kidding me.....I read this knowing that Tony G. is on the trading block wanting to goto a contender, and the only trade offer Carl Peterson has recieved is a 6th round pick from the New York Giants......I know you all have L.J. Smith, but this is Tony Freaking Gonzalez....the most prolific recieving tight end in the history of the game. While Donovan McNabb needs help BADLY.....and the Eagles are not interested? The Giants recieved a 2nd and a 5th for Jeremy Shockey and the only off the Chiefs have received is a 6th round pick. Yea, yea, yea Shockey is younger.....I would almost bet Tony Gonzalez will could still produce more from now until he retires than Shockey will from now until he retires. Do people not know who Tony G. is and what he is capable of just because he plays for the Chefs........just wait....if the Giants end up getting him....you will get to watch someone try to cover him twice a year until he decides to retire. Then you will be sayin.....why the hell didn't we offer a 5th rounder for this guy......he might have been awesome together with Westbrook, Jackson, and McNabb.

Philly Who?

This was Phillys year to (finally) make the jump to the Super Bowl and win it; however, as the author points out, the front office failed misserably. Isaac Bruce???? Dante Stallworth???? Javon Walker????? You had all the oppertunites in the world to help Donovan and Co. Even as the trade deadline came and went the cowbody were still able to make a move, while your team sat on your ass and produced nothing short of a pile of s***. Say goodnight to Philadelphia football for quite some time. They are to old. The other 3 East teams are relatively young, espicially the Redskins with Campbell at QB then going out and getting (2) 6'5 recievers, Malcolm Kelly and Devin Thomas, and the nations best tight end (Fred Davis) in the draft last year. Its a shame to see an owner not care about a team that the city of Philly so deeply does. The Linc will be empty and the fans that remain will soon have grocery bags over their face, just like the mid-late 90's.
